THE OBSERVER: sci-fi creature design, modelling, and animation process

Here's my process for creating environmental creatures for animation and games from sketch to final render.
For this project I was after a bulky industrial theme with hints of bio-mechanical elements. Something that appeared to have grown in a way out of waste and junk to form a consciousness.
Taking inspiration from industrial and mechanical equipment.
